Configure
Set up over the air. No site visit to change a setting.
4
Live
Data minutes after installation, with an evidence pack for every point.

Questions
What is an energy back office?
The work of checking what every site should pay: metering, tariff pricing and bill checks, done on one measured record instead of spreadsheets.
Do you work with Eskom and municipal accounts?
Yes. Augos prices Eskom and municipal tariffs from its own tariff database, on file since 2008, and checks the bills both send.
What does it cost?
R450 a month per meter, ex VAT, covers every module. Managed bill verification is R145 a month per bill point, ex VAT. Tariff implementation is from R35,000, ex VAT.
Who installs the meters?
A qualified electrician, often your own on-site technician or the contractor you already use. The Augos installer app guides the job and checks the meter's live readings before the electrician leaves, so the site is live minutes after installation.
Who owns the data, and is it secure?
You do. Your data is stored securely and handled in line with POPIA, and you can export all of it at any time, by API or as AI-ready exports.
What happens during load-shedding or a poor connection?
If the connection drops but power is on, the meter stores readings and sends them once it reconnects, so nothing is lost. During load-shedding there is no consumption to record while the supply is off, and the meter keeps its settings and clock, so it picks up where it left off when power returns.
